Emmas Love

EXTRA, EXTRA, NEWS FLASH
THIS MARE IS FOR SALE!

emmaface.jpg

This mare is so sweet and quiet, such a doll. I hate to relocate her, but I must. I am planning to green break her with the coming of drier weather- if she lasts that long. She is quiet and gentle, kind and sweet. She would make an excellent addition to any farm or family. If you are interested in purchasing her please email me and tell me why you are interested and what you plan to do with her. She is too generous to go to anyone who won't love her. She is great for the farrier, loads, leads and clips, so far so good. She breeds easily, I have bred her live cover to my stallion with no mis-conduct. She was first bred to him 7 February 2k5. This foal should be homozygous for black, and 50% chance of bay. It should also have some chrome. I will sell the foal seperate if you are interested, just email me with you questions.

Emma is gorgeous and possesses an excellent disposition. She is by the late Taii Pan. All in all she has 4 crosses to Bask and one each to Comet, Bay El Bey and Ga'zi.
This is the story recounted to me by Denette Toney of Mill Creek Arabians. She is Emmas breeder. "
Emma's Love is a treasure. Her name is in honor of her mother who we also lost when Emma was only 3 weeks old. We raised her on fresh goats milk (and I do mean fresh. We milked 2 goats twice a day to feed her). She was Taii Pan's first foal and we couldn't have been happier with her. We put her in training and conditioning for halter when she was 8 months old. She was sold shortly after that with the understanding that she was going to be shown. It never happened, but we understood and didn't complain. I have not seen her in person since she left us at 9 months of age, but she was a special horse. Her trust of people and outright love of people was always evident. I am sure it had a lot to do with the fact that she was an orphan. We would love to have her back with us now that Taii Pan is gone but at this point in time we could not afford to do so. I hope whoever does get her realizes how special she is and loves her to no end. She is very special in many ways, including her incredible pedigree."

Emma is by the Great Taii Pan son of the immortal Bey Shah, Taii Pan is out of the Port Bask daughter Ga Porta who is out of the Ga'zi daughter Ga Ryna. Emma is out of the Gdansk daughter Bask Emphasis who is out of the Trask daughter Trazada out of the Sur-Lee daughter Shazade Lee. She has huge eyes, and a very dishy face. She has a brief in-hand show record befor becoming a broodmare.
Taii Pan was a Region IV top 5 HP and a class A champion in both Halter and Hunter Pleasure. He had accumulated 69 points befor his untimely death. He had to be put down due to a broken leg. He was at the trainers getting ready for the next Nationals and managed to escape from his stall. He and another stallion raced each other down a long driveway and into a neighbors field in which he had an 18" wide by 3' deep trench dug all along the outer edges. Taii Pan stepped into this ditch at a dead run and snapped his front leg just below the elbow. He continued trying to run on it and shattered it in the process.
